Purchased (2) packs of (20) 3600 calorie bars at ~$120 per pack.Really Good $$$ value per calorie. I've seen other brands on amazon charge 3x that rate for emergency food bars. Pretty decent deal.Only 1 of the 40 items were not fully sealed. Not too bad considering the reviews I've read on some other brands had 3 in 20 fail. Still sucks though, that ~$7 of product that I didn't receive undamaged, and I don't trust that product to be safe to eat in the long term with the broken seal. Oh well.The taste is like super dense pound cake with a little bit of lemon flavor. Surprisingly tasty, though I'm sure it would get real tiring real fast. The brick of food is pretty hard to snap, but once you snap it its easy to eat/bite. The item is a massive, heavy flat brick of food. It could be useful to subdivide and reseal portions as emergency car or hiking snacks.The package says it is not thirst provoking, and while you may be able to survive not drinking water with it, you will not be in for a fun time. I recommend having water to drink with it.
