These are great sizes for short term storage, like packing salads or single served, reheat ready meals. They are microwave safe, and if you know your relatives aren't going to return your food containers, this is ideal. Who cares if they keep it or toss it away. They don't leak easily, but it isn't exactly "Leak proof."On the plus side, these wash clean and even tomato based sauces don't seem to stain it.
