I've had this machine for a few days and I'm impressed. It has good suction for a inexpensive machine. It's light weight and it doesn't take up alot of counter space. It does its job and it does it pretty well. My only real complaint is that you have to leave 2-3" of plastic at the end or else it won't suction or seal correctly. Seems really wasteful. Sometimes it feels like it should be suctioning more air out of "moist" foods (e.g., chicken breasts). Otherwise, it does its job. Vacuum sealing is weirdly fun and satisfying. For the price, it's awesome.I was disappointed that there are no jar tops to hook the vacuum tube to. I ordered a set but the tube connectors did not fit.Seals great , as long as you preheat it first!I learned that after a couple of times using itMy previous, super expensive sealer but the dust after 3 yrs, so I got this one. At time it seems to lack suction and I have to reposition the bag, but all in all worth the price.Bonus points: it comes apart to actually be able to clean the bottom tray of any juices sucked out during sealing!Received yesterday and after a trip to Costco vacuum sealed 4 steaks, 10 boneless pork chops and 2 half slabs of ribs. All with the included bags.Easy to use and an excellent value.Instructions not very good. Works well after I figured it out. Definitely a 4 for the price. Sorry for the confusion. This is perfect for sealing anything, not just food.
