I just hate to see food that I've purchased go bad. Stale chips that are not usable - such a waste of a resource and a waste of money.These little clips really hold bags of chips, crackers, etc. closed tightly to preserve freshness. They are so well made and I feel a real value for the price. The plastic is very heavy duty, the springs are strong, without being too strong, the "jaws" have ridges on them to grip, and the part that you squeeze is rubber coated - all very nice! These are sort of the Cadillac of chip clips!Of course you need to do a good job folding over the bag several times to close it, then add this clip to hold it. An easy 5 stars for me.
