Great glass and decent lids. I wish I could buy them in bulk. Great for coffee and chai spices for people who take them seriously you gotta have your ingredients fresh. I looked all over for vacuum sealed canisters and these were the best I found.I've been looking for a vacuum container for storing smoothie and finally found this one. I like tall and skinny ones because that way there is less smoothie wasted being stuck on walls. I also like that it is made of glass since even BPA free plastic can be just as toxic as BPA plastic as recent scientific reports revealed. My only complaint is that the rubber foot comes off easily... Also I wish they make an electric vacuum pump that vacuums every few hours to ensure vacuum is always there. Not that great. Difficult to use. 2 of the containers are so small practically useless. Can’t tell when they are vacuumed. Hard to hold. Silicone bottom does not stay on. Bought to hold coffee air tight but going back to vac bags. These jars are tall with a high capacity. They’re tall enough for spaghetti, but I decided to store my organic sugar in hopes that airtight would mean my sugar wouldn’t clump or get hard. I’ve been using these for months and while I do still get tiny soft clumps, they easily come apart just from shaking. All I have to do is flip the container upside down or shake it a little. I buy 4 lbs bags, and it fills both containers. The lids will stick from just placing them on top, but they are not secure let alone airtight until after using the pump. They cannot be lifted by the lids because that’s enough pressure to pull the lids off. I knew the pump was required when I ordered it, so I make sure to store it in my pantry right next to these jars. They are large and round so awkward to carry and I wouldn’t let a child handle them. The FEBEEK Glass Kitchen Canister Set has its pluses and minuses. On the plus side, the glass containers have a clean and professional look. And the vacuum-capable lids with the vacuum hand pump make these food containers an excellent choice for any food items that tend to go stale or rancid when exposed to air. On the downside, glass construction makes the canisters far more susceptible to breakage than similarly sized plastic containers. Also, unlike plastic containers, it isn't practical to use glass containers in the freezer. One of my canisters already has a hairline crack in it, possibly due to rough shipping or the vacuum process. Overall, I think this set is nice to have when the vacuum function is needed or desired. Otherwise, plastic containers may be more practical.I am overly impressed with this storage canister set. I feel like they literally thought of everything and included it in the set. First the canister some selves are nice quality glass they have a rubber bottom that is removable which stops the glass from clinging against your countertops. Next are the lids which are easily taken on and off you use the pump to vacuum seal any food you put inside. In the center there is a gray rubber which will either protrude out when it’s not vacuum sealed or be sucked and when it is. if you want to release the seal you just tap the center rubber slightly to the side to release the seal. each litter also has a handle that is tucked and that you can pop up like a little basket. As long as your canister is sealed with the vacuum pump I had no issues carrying the canister filled with cereal around by the handle! next they also included additional rubber stoppers black chalkboard like labels and a pen. Like I said I feel like this kid is everything you could need and I honestly can’t think of another feature they could’ve added to these. I would definitely recommend them as a gift or in your own home they’re awesome!
