Well, what can I say! If you want to get a hold of new old parts sometimes you’re going to have to pay the price. $99 plus tax and shipping for a card that was state-of-the-art back in 2007 was a little stiff but, when you need to get a project done and shipped you have to do what you have to do.When the card arrived it was in a OEM style packaging in between foam and then a hard plastic clamshell case. When I pull the card out and inspected it there were no bent pins so it was time to blow it off with compressed air and stick it in the motherboard. The project in question is a dell latitude E 1405 which is now running this processor and upgraded Intel 4965 Wi-Fi card with four gigs of ram dell true mobile Bluetooth card and a Samsung Evo 860 solid-state drive. The machine is now running a 64-bit version of windows 10 pro version 20 H2 thanks to this processor. Now a 15 year old laptop has a new lease on life and will continue to do work for its owner rather than being sent to the landfill all for under $300.
