I love this little food mat! I used to use the flat plastic pet mats and found I had to keep replacing them, they would tear or the picture would wash off and my cat would get food all over the floor still. I opted for the Conlun pet feeding mat as it has a lip around the edge and comes in a variety of colours (I went for the pink) when it arrived I really liked the colour and feel of the rubber material. It is very plyable yet thick, good quality, water resistant and easy to clean. There are small dots on the surface of the mat that helps to prevent feeding bowls from moving around. I have the nat on a vinyl floor and it hold itself in place.my cat is a very messy eater and the lip catches all of the food. Much easier clean up and I am not stepping on cat biscuits constantly!The mat works perfectly for me and my cats routine definitely recommend
