It didn't work in my old Sony VAIO laptop, but I was able to sell it on eBay without any problems. It looks fast as hell and I'm sure it probably is, but never got the chance to try it out. I ended up getting a new laptop with a Xeon chip.Bottom line - closely verify compatibility with this chip.
